| Favorite Memory at Hope: There are numerous favorite memories: field trips (Expedition Yellowstone and Craters of the Moon), operettas, Christmas services, and the every day excitement of watching students learn. |
| Why Hope is Special: Hope Lutheran School is a special place because students and teachers can share the message and love of Jesus Christ our Savior. The message of salvation through Jesus Christ is the number one priority of Hope Lutheran School. |
| Who Am I: In Portsmouth, Iowa I grew up on a farm. I attended one-room country schools and graduated from Woodbine High School. I went to Concordia College in St. Paul, Minnesota, and received a degree in elementary education. I taught 5th grade for five years in Wisconsin before coming to Hope in 1978. I have a master's degree in education with an emphasis in reading. |
