Hometown: Idaho Falls, Idaho
Favorite Activities: Fishing, camping, hunting, and reading.
Interests: Traveling to new places with my family and cooking.
Favorite Bible Verse: "...since all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, they are justified by this grace as a gift, through the redemption which is in Christ Jesus, whom God put forward as an expiation by his blood, to be received by faith." ~ Romans 3:23-25
Time at Hope: This will be my second year at Hope as a teacher. I have been a member for most of my life.
Favorite Memory at Hope: My favorite memory at Hope came when I was able to participate in the first Expedition Yellowstone as a student. It was the first time I was able to experience Yellowstone off the beaten path. I did things I never did before in Yellowstone and, to this day, is one of the main reasons I love it. Expedition Yellowstone is why I continue to visit Yellowstone time and time again.
Why Hope is Special: Hope is special to me because this is the school I attended as a child through 8th grade. I learned about all of the basic necessary school subject matters but most importantly I learned about God. It went hand-in-hand with everything else and is the reason I have the faith I have.
Who Am I: I was born and raised here in Idaho Falls and enjoy all that Idaho has to offer. I graduated from Concordia University-Nebraska in 1998 with a degree in Secondary Education with endorsements in Biology and Chemistry. I have been married to Jenniffer for 15 years and have two wonderful sons (Jackson and Ryan). I am looking forward to the challenge and joy of teaching third grade for this upcoming year.
