PRESS RELEASE:

For Immediate Release

Hope Lutheran Classical Academy in Idaho Falls, Idaho was recently accepted by the Association of Classical Christian Schools (ACCS) as a member in good standing on August 18, 2022. Hope Lutheran is beginning its second year as a Classical Academy having adopted a classical curriculum beginning the 2021-22 school year. The Academy uses an elementary education curriculum developed by Memoria Press that emphasizes the humanities and a time-honored traditional approach to education. The goal is not to indoctrinate students or teach them what to think but rather, “How to Think”! ACCS is the principal advocacy organization for classical Christian schools with over 300 member schools.

Additionally, Hope Lutheran is a Partner Member of the Classical Latin School Association (CLSA). The study of Latin is an essential building block for a student’s education at Hope Lutheran with the students beginning their learning of Latin in the second grade.

Beginning this current academic year, Hope Lutheran Classical Academy will provide the beginnings of a classical education for our Early Childhood (EC) Program. The EC Program includes children ages three through five in pre-school and pre-kindergarten classes. The EC Program is Christ-Centered where the children learn about Jesus and the Good News of Salvation in addition to the traditional early childhood learning objectives.

If interested in a Christian classical education in the Idaho Falls area, please contact Bryan Northcutt, Headmaster at (208) 529-8080, or speak with an administrative assistant in the office.
