Northcut accepts position as Headmaster

Hope Lutheran Classical Academy in Idaho Falls, Idaho is proud to announce that Mr. Bryan Northcutt has accepted the position of Headmaster effective the 2022-23 academic year.

As Headmaster, Mr. Northcutt is responsible for the safe and effective operation of Hope Lutheran Classical Academy. This is the second year of Hope Lutheran operating as a Classical Academy that now includes the School’s Early Childhood Program for children ages three through five in addition to the kindergarten through sixth grade Elementary Program.

Hope Lutheran is a classical, Christian academy that welcomes all children. Mr. Northcutt’s educational background is diverse and extensive. This summer he was conferred a Master of Science in Philosophy, Science and Religion from the University of Edinburgh. Mr. Northcutt also has a Master of Arts in History, a Bachelor of Arts in Christian Ministry plus other post-graduate work in Theology, Apologetics and Education. He has also studied Archaeology/History at the University of Oxford.

Mr. Northcutt was also conferred a colloquy from Concordia University, Irvine, CA on October 1, 2021. As a result, Hope Lutheran Church called Mr. Northcutt as a Commissioned Minister of Religion (Teacher) on December 8, 2021. With the start of this current academic year, this is Mr. Northcutt’s fourth year at Hope Lutheran Classical Academy. Hope Lutheran Church and School of Idaho Falls is a member of the Lutheran Church – Missouri Synod (LCMS). The LCMS has more than 1.8 million baptized members and 5,914 congregations in all 50 states. The LCMS also operates more than 800 primary and secondary schools, two seminaries and seven colleges and universities. Hope Lutheran Church has operated a Christian school in Idaho Falls for more than 60 years.
